A Melbourne wedding by Andy Lim

29 Oct

Andy Lim

Couple – Alan and Angie
Venue – St Michael’s Church (Melbourne) and Contessa Receptions (Melbourne)
Theme – Gold

Got these beautiful photos from Andy Lim who just got back from shooting a wedding in Melbourne. I love the above pre wedding shot, as the bride and groom really standout against the background and all in all its a very natural photo. Which is what weddings should be after all – the best pics are often the most candid ones!

St. Michael's Church

St. Michael's Church

Melbourne no doubt has some beautiful and traditional churches…

Andy LIm

As Andy mentioned in his recent interview, he has a penchant for taking photos that are very real and capture the ‘moment’!

Gold, gold, gold!

Gold, gold, gold!

You can’t go wrong with gold – it’s always going to give you a feel that’s slightly luxe, regal and classic.

And the celebration begins... as usual with a wonderful wedding - there is laughter and tears

Laughter AND tears = a traditional wedding!

And after a bit of that wondeful Australian wine…

The bride and her girls!

the boys let loose!

But can they compete with the boys?

Thank you Andy for these pics and congratulations to Alan & Angie! xxx

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Andy & his wife to come all the way to Melbourne for our wedding photo shooting. They were very professional photographers and we truly love the wedding photos taken by them . ^_^

Is it expensive to have a wedding in Melbourne? My fiance is Malaysian but studied there… we were thinking of having a big K.L wedding and then a small one in Melb for his friends and some family…
