GET YOUR MOTHERS DRESSED!
12 Nov
Whilst your wedding day is undoubtedly your day to shine, don’t neglect mothers — yours and his — as this will be an equally special day for them, and probably the single most momentous occasion since they got married themselves. With this in mind, take a bit of time out of your hectic schedule to go shopping for an outfit with them. They might insist on paying (that’s fine) but it’s important to remember that comfortable, confidently dressed mothers make for a much easier wedding for you to handle.
Remember, comfort is key, but also look for colours which match their complexions. If the wedding is formal, consider skirt and sleeve lengths so that they don’t appear under or over-dressed in comparison. Do also bear in mind the composition of photos of the bridal party; making sure they don’t clash will be key to ensuring great pictures. However tempting it may be, do not put your mothers in white, off-white, beige or even ivory as those shades should strictly be for the bride only. Make the dress-shopping event a great excuse for some mother-daughter bonding time, and combine it with lunch somewhere she’s been dying to try. It will make her feel special, and she’ll dive into helping you with wedding planning with even more gusto.

This is cute! I like da pic.
