Ivanka Trump’s wedding photos

Remember our very first post on Ivanka Trump’s engagement to the dashing Jared Kushner? After only three months of engagement, the couple have now tied the knot and released some of their exclusive wedding photos online.  The pics are from Popsugar (Photos courtesy of Brian Marcus/Fred Marcus Photography via Getty Images), and I think they make a handsome couple… TWG wishes them the best of luck!

The lovely couple tied the knot at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ (keep it in the family), where they said their vows under a huge huppah (Jewish for wedding canopy).

Ivanka, who no doubt is the shining star of Donald’s children, unsurprisingly adorned jewels from… her Ivanka Trump Collection! From her own line – a $45,000 hair clip, $130,000 diamond drop earrings and a $90,000 Art Deco-inspired bracelet.

Beautiful natural eye make-up with light lip colour. And earrings by Ivanka herself!

The Dish:

Dress: Custom made by Vera Wang and is said to be inspired by the likes of Princess Grace Kelly’s wedding gown when wore to wed Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956. Vera describes the gown as “royal & majestic”, not too revealing and actually handmade of lace. It also took an entire month to make! It pays to be Ivanka :)

Hair: Stylist Suelyn Fare (Who a week before the wedding gave Ivanka a trim and “Park Avenue Blonde” highlights)

Bridesmaids: According to NYPost, Vanessa Trump (the wife of Ivanka’s brother Donny) and half-sister Tiffany Trump (daughter from Donald’s 2nd marriage with Marla Maples) – wore Carolina Herrera gowns in the shade of ‘dusty lavender’.

Mother-in-laws: Both were dressed in peach. I think Ivana Trump still looks in amazing shape and I hear she even shared a dance with dear Donald.

Other guests: Apparently, a lot of black which is not quite the traditional colour of choice.

Special ‘guests’: The young Murdoch girls (Rupert & Wendi’s kids), Grace and Chloe, were “little bridesmaids.”  Always best to be on the good side of Fox news..!

Orchestra: “Hava Nagila.” A hebrew folk song which translates to ‘Let us rejoice’

Honeymoon: Africa! As the bride & groom are currently back at work… the honeymoon will take place in December.

and last but not least…

Classic Donald moment: Slipped in with the wedding invites was apparently a leaflet on Donald’s golf courses…

If you were one of the lucky 500 guests who were invited… your day would of looked something like this:

Program:

3 pm -  Family picture taking before guests arrived (Quite a big picture given Donald’s wives – past & present)

4 pm – Wedding ceremony

5:30 pm – Cocktails

7:30 pm – Guests take their seat at long, narrow, white tables which were under the big, white tent

2:30 am – Guests go home (making it an eight hour affair for some)

Other celebrity guests: Russell Crowe, Natalie Portman, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Rupert & Wendy Murdock, Anna Wintour etc (Hmmm… I imaging sitting next to Anna rather stressful if you’re not dressed the part:)

Guest quotes:

Barbara Walters: “It was a gorgeous wedding… notice the dress had a high neck and sleeves as this was a Jewish orthodox wedding, it took Ivanka a year and a half to convert to Judaism… and of course Donald had the first dance with Ivanka”

Nikki Haskell (mother Ivana’s best friend):”Very touching. I love Ivanka… she’s just the most precious, wonderful girl… they must of taken every white rose in the United States… it was just elegant”

Well, I must say I respect Ivanka Trump and her hubby is rather cute in my humble opinion :) She could of taken the typical, rich kid path and opted for minimum working hours/ maximum trust funds… but instead has shown the world that she does take after Dad when it comes to that passion & zest for business.
