It’s been awhile since we’ve had some pics from FIFOTO Photography, but it’s understandable because they’ve been busy shooting like crazy (it is wedding season after all!). So, hot off the press are these lovely pics of Malaysian couple John and Sumana. Day 1 was spent at a ranch not too far from KLCC, where photographer Fiona Lim of FIFOTO managed to capture the morning light beautifully.
We hear John and Su are a couple who work together and play together. Both in the advertising line, the two met four years ago at work and the rest was history. With the long hours the advertising industry requires, it does make sense to be with someone with a similar background, doesn’t it? At least you know you’re always getting your “Quality time” *wink*.

If you are a bit of an early bird, then arrange for a morning shoot. Not only will it be cooler (especially for those in the tropics), but the light is much softer. Wake up late and shoot at noon? You’ll be privy to harsh shadows from the 12 o’clock sun. Which means not looking so pretty in white!
Fiona told us that Su has this contagious infectious laugh that automatically brings a smile to John’s face. I know this is a bit cheesy to say, but I believe it to be true – “the couple that laughs together, stays together!”
Day 2 was spent at Old China cafe on Petaling Street, Malaysia’s bustling street food hotspot. I love the whole ‘ye shanghai’ vibe going on and Su’s red shoes with John’s red suspenders give it that perfect touch of colour. And FYI, apparently the food at the Old China cafe is pretty good, too, if you’re after some Nyonya/Peranakan food. (more…)
