At WGA, one of our fave pastimes is finding new wedding vendors we think should be in our directory, the Little White Book. Whether they be industry veterans or newbies, we understand that we have an array of brides with different tastes and different budgets. So say hello to one of our latest vendors, Crossroads Photography. Run by not one, but three wedding photographers, Jonathan, Daniel and Kenny form a young team who each carry their own strengths. Still fresh to the scene, Crossroads delivers pretty pics at affordable prices.
Here’s our lil Q&A with them:
Why weddings?
All of us picked weddings simply because we love the atmosphere that comes with it! You have to admit, that’s one of those rare occasions where “love is in the air.” As wedding photographers we feel every wedding is special to us because we’re given a brief window to be part of what can be the most important day of a couple’s life. When we present them with their wedding album and they come back to us happy, it makes the hard work worth it

We like the vintage feel of some of your photos – would you say that is your signature style?
You could say that is one of our styles. Besides that, we also love the clean feel to photos if they are coloured or black and white.

What type of weddings do you shoot the most?
Normally, we shoot all kinds of weddings but we have more inquiries for Chinese and Indian weddings.

Describe one of your wedding shoots.
We normally operate with two photographers at an Actual Day shoot. Sometimes for a bigger wedding we do operate with 3 photographers at no extra charge. Reason being a photographer can’t be at two places at the same time (unless you can teleport!). So, in order to provide the best coverage for our clients, we shoot in a pair or a group of three.
In one sentence, tell us why brides should use Crossroads…
You should use Crossroads because we are a group of creative photographers who not only take pride in what we do but take the fun approach photographing your special day.
